Lunch today was delicious! Mushroom soup in a bread bowl followed by many other delicious dishes. The introduction to Polish cuisine has been incredible throughout the entire trip - I'm going to miss the three course meals when we return! Props to our wonderful coordinator, Anna, for putting so much thought and time into making sure we have had a complete immersion into Polish culture.
Walking through Wawel Castle was truly like a fairy tale! The stately rooms with enormous tapestries hung on the walls each held so much history. The castle was on a hill overlooking the beautiful city of Krakow. After the castle tour, we saw the breathtaking cathedral, crypt, and bell tower!
